According to ICAI’s official May 2026 announcement, the CA Intermediate exams will be conducted from 3 May 2026 to 13 May 2026.

CA Inter May 2026 Exam Timing

ICAI has scheduled all Intermediate papers from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST. Candidates also get an advance reading time of 15 minutes from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM, except where ICAI specifically excludes it for MCQ-based components.

ICAI has already published the official schedule for online exam form submission.

CA Inter May 2026 Admit Card

ICAI says admit cards are generally hosted on the Self Service Portal (SSP) around 14 days before the exam begins. No physical admit card is sent by post.

Students will be able to download the admit card using their SSP login credentials from the official portal.

Eligibility & Important Rules

• For Intermediate May 2026, the 8-month study period requirement applies as on 1 May 2026.
• That means candidates should be registered on or before 1 September 2025.
• Candidates must fill the exam form through eservices.icai.org.
• Intermediate candidates should verify that their group-wise registration is correct before filling the form.
• ICAI requires a valid and properly uploaded photograph and signature on SSP.

Exam Centre Selection Update

ICAI has changed the May 2026 exam-form process. Instead of only choosing a zone or city, candidates can now select their preferred exam centre within the chosen zone/city. ICAI will still make the final allotment, and the exact centre name will appear on the admit card.

• Do not wait until the last date to submit the exam form.
• Use a laptop or desktop with stable internet while filling the form.
• Keep a PDF copy of the successfully submitted exam form for future use.
• Choose the exam medium and centre carefully before final payment.
• Paper 6 for May 2026 onwards is Financial Management and Strategic Management.
• ICAI study material, mock test papers, and revision classes for May 2026 are also available through the ICAI/BoS ecosystem.
