The IBPS PO age limit requires candidates to be between 20 and 30 years of age as of a specified cutoff date to be eligible for the exam . The date of birth must fall between the dates set in the official notification; for instance, for the upcoming recruitment cycle, candidates born not earlier than 02.07.1995 and not later than 01.07.2005 were considered eligible . However, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) provides significant age relaxation for reserved categories. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories receive a relaxation of 5 years, while those from Other Backward Classes (OBC-Non Creamy Layer) get 3 years . Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are granted a relaxation of 10 years . Additional relaxations are also available for Ex-Servicemen and candidates affected by the 1984 riots, among other special categories .
